Salon Gaboa Aveda

Gaboa Salon is a lovely salon! It's one of the cleanest, friendliest, client-oriented salons I have ever visited! I used this salon while wintering for two months in Clearwater three years ago and again this past February. Lisa was my stylist and I couldn't be happier with her style and cut as well as color. She worked very hard to cover a stubborn cowlick that few stylists have had success with. She listened intently to what I wanted and didn't fail to deliver. Bridget who owns this salon is very friendly and accommodating. She has excellent help in Peyton who runs the front desk and lends extraordinary help in seeing to the needs of both stylists and clients. As well, Lilly is a delightful gal who also works the front desk and handles appointments. The only thing that would make me happier is if this salon were located in my hometown. They are very professional in doin my hair, I do appreciation, Was my second time to this location they staff is very friendly and and caring makein you feeling special.Also hairstyles Lisa is very good she did good job on my husband hair. I have been to this hair salon many times. Alex has always been my favorite. Before leaving the state for a family emergency, she did my hair and we talked about doing more highlights when I am back. Today I called to make an appointment and the person on the phone wanted me to give my card number to book the appointment. I refused. I am a client, spent quite a bit of money at their salon, including buying Aveda products - never once was asked to give my credit card # in advance to make an appointment. Told him my security concern to give my card number over the phone and to have it "on file". He didn't budge, didn't try to deal with the concerns. Couldn't make an appointment. Sad, bad customer service. Don't think they care losing a client, at least he didn’t, but they did.
