I have extremely curly hair and have been struggling with finding a hair salon that I am comfortable in and listens to what I envision. I was contacted by Destiny within a day of making an appointment. When I got to the salon, she listened to what I was looking for and also gave recommendations she felt would look better. I left the salon feeling more beautiful than I have felt in a very long time. She talked through everything she was doing and checked in to make sure I was comfortable. At the end, she styled my hair and gave me awesome tips for me to be able to style at home. I would recommend this salon and especially Destiny to anyone looking for a new hairstyle or touch up. As a new customer, I was feeling nervous and excited about cutting my long hair short. I've had straight hair most of my life and within the last two years it developed (2b) waves. I didn't know how to manage or style wavy hair. So I googled a curly hair specialist and decided to go with Jasmine based on her glowing reviews. I'm so glad I did! Jasmine is super personable, fun and upbeat. She knows her stuff too and educated me on how to style my waves at home. Thanks for my new 'do Jasmine. I love it and so does my husband! Ps-I plan to donate my hair to Children with Hair Loss in case anyone was looking to do the same. Among the organizations that accept hair donations, they accept all conditions of hair (8 inches minimum) so you can donate virgin, colored, permed hair and they will not sell your hair to their customers unlike Locks of Love.

This review is wayyyy over due but I came to Destiny back in early Feb for a much needed cut and styling so that it looked perfect for my engagement party. I explained what I wanted in my styling and she did exactly what I wanted without taking my length which has always been a fear of mine whenever I go to a salon. She answered all my questions about a good hair/scalp maintenance routine as well as explaining everything she did and why she did it. I have recommended her to anyone with curly hair who has had similar issues in the past with hair stylist. She’s a super star and I’ll definitely be going back.
