Great Clips

I will never go here or the Camden location again. The service you recieve is entirely dependent on the stylist you get. I’ve had nice ones who make sure you’re happy with your hair, and others who rush through and seem like *they* know how your hair should be whether you like it or not. I went to the Camden location a few months ago, left with the bottom of my hair jagged and uneven. I went the same day to get it fixed at another salon and the stylist agreed - it was a poor job. Then, yesterday, I went to the Dover location and asked for an inch off the overall length with long, point-cut layers. The stylist cut my layers choppy with the shortest ones no longer than my ear. I went to get that fixed the same day at another location and the stylist said the layers weren’t blended at all. Overall, I’ve had too many times where I’ve left frustrated and then spent more money fixing the look after. I’m really upset with how it went yesterday. Place is mad clean which is a lovely. Workers were very nice and pleasant. I arrived near closing maybe an hour off but was greeted and told of the current wait. I enjoy people watching so no problem. The overall experience was great. Now the deduction of the stars. I asked for a high drop fade. I literally had to explain what this means. The haircut was decent at best. I will return because it's convenient and the people are nice.

So, I brought my son here a week ago and Nicole cut his hair. I showed her what we wanted and she sat him down and first told him he couldn’t read his book. Made no sense to me why you’re going to tell an 11 yr old they can not read a book while he’s getting his hair cut. She was rude and snippy, huffing and puffing, rolling her eyes because he ran his fingers through his hair AFTER she was did the horrible job she did. I should’ve never tipped to begin with. When we got him home we realized just how awful it was. Completely uneven, choppy looking, no blending at all. Looked awful! I was told to bring him back in and the manager could redo it. We had Grace and she was so nice as soon as we walked in the door. Greeted us with a smile, her and Pam made the whole experience much better. She couldn’t fix what we were going for and I already knew it wouldn’t have been able to be fixed to what we were going for but that’s ok, it looks good now! Thanks Grace and Pam! Service: Haircut
