Georgetown Aveda Salon & Spa

I decided to try Georgetown Aveda for the first time in August because I love Aveda products and was looking for a new salon. Unfortunately, I received one of the worst haircuts I've ever had and I would not recommend visiting this salon. I have a few major complaints about the experience: 1. As you can see in the picture, my ends are completely uneven. 2. My stylist, Karen, was 20 minutes late the appointment without any explanation. During the entire 20 minutes I was waiting for her to arrive, no one attempted to explain to me where she was and what was taking so long. 3. Karen created a very painful knot in my hair that she tried to just ignore and I had to work the knot out of my hair once I got to my car. 4. I paid $60 for my hair to look this bad 5. Georgetown Aveda has ignored 2 of my emails in which I explained how bad my service was and asked for a refund or a complementary trim. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, I will not be going back to Georgetown Aved

I’ve been seeing Salome for over a year and she is easily the best stylist I’ve ever experienced! She is highly competent, professional and delivers excellent results! I see her for highlights, which can be hard for my very thick blonde hair. Each time, she does an exceptional job. My hair has never looked so healthy and shiny with a beautiful and natural blonde tone. Never brassy or dull. Additionally, my cut always comes out perfectly as well! Salome is truly an amazing stylist and wonderful person. She’s worked on many top clients all over the world and I would fully recommend her services. She’s such a sweet and warm person. I got my hair cut with Sarah and she was absolutely amazing! She listened to my needs and I came out with the perfect haircut. On top of that, Sarah is well-versed in a holistic lifestyle and provides great insight and advice in other areas as well. She is a fabulous stylist and I highly recommend her. Service: Hairstyling
