Bang Salon is a great salon - clean, open, well-lit and lively - and Elsa is just the best stylist I've ever had. She has a great eye, and always keeps me looking sharp! Her skills and talents go far beyond my standard men's cuts - but its always a perfect cut, and her styling stands up through the weeks until my next session. She's also a genuinely nice person - always upbeat, friendly - a true professional who always leaves me feeling great!

Tyler is an experienced and thoughtful cutter. I had about 3 months of growth plus dry ends (highlights + summer pool swims) and wanted to have a new shape to my style but not lose too much length. I showed her a photo of my inspiration cut ( blunt edge longer lob with curtain bangs). I appreciated that Tyler carefully looked at all of the angles of the cut and triple checking to ensure that all of the layers and edges were consistent and even while she cut. Her energy is centered and focused which made it a calm and relaxing experience. I am happy with my cut and look forward to going back for touch ups. Salon impression: I went to the U street location: check in/ check out were easy and I felt welcomed. It was a Sunday so perhaps a bit less busy than other days. Cleanliness: the floors and chair were very clean which I appreciated. I’ve been to other salons that did not pay as much attention to hygiene.
