Salon Etre

I’m so happy I have found this salon. My story: I have some gray hair on the most visible place. Two years ago I went to the salon in Greenwich for the single process, I wanted to color my hair in my own shade which is ash brown. They made me look like a fox! After that horrible experience it took 2 years to grow out this nightmare and be ready to try another place. I first came to Etre for a consultation and was completely satisfied with what I heard from my hairstylist. And the same with the result! I’m so grateful to this place and especially to Nicole. She’s amazing and has such a good energy and taste. So nice to have business with professionals who loves what they do. Definitely get back there and highly recommend ????????

I have had such a great experience with Salon Etre since Summer 2017! Sam is the BEST, she has the best “chair side manners”, (if that’s a thing), is patient and always in a great mood! Sam literally blow-dry’s my hair in 30 minutes and leaves it looking amazing!! I have coarse, “ethnic” hair and Sam has done everything from color, to cuts, to keratin. The chairs are very comfortable, the salon is always clean and staff is friendly. There was actually a time where my hair did not grasp the product well enough, and Sam was more than glad to repeat the treatment at no charge. Although it did not work for my hair, I was impressed to receive such positive customer service. Which is why I am giving them 5 stars (not their fault my hair wasn’t giving in to the treatment). I am very pleased with the salon, and I would highly recommend Sam to everyone!

I recently moved to Norwalk and was looking for a salon and a new stylist that I could trust. I’ve had my fair share of negative experiences in hair salons where I’ve felt like an experiment, dealing with bad dye jobs and haircuts that weren’t really “me”, but simply justifying the experience because I had respect for the individual doing my hair, although I always left unhappy. This is the first time in 29 years where I felt like a stylist really listened to me. Nicole is an absolute gem. I came for a brief consultation where I told her my preferences and she calmly and professionally gave her feedback and shared her insights. She was not pushy, she didn’t talk me into dying my hair or over treating it. She emphasized that she wanted to keep the integrity of my hair strong and healthy. I really appreciated her genuine, empathetic approach to me as a new client. I had my appointment this past weekend at Salon Etre where I got a trim, a deep conditioning treatment, and a stellar blowout
