From the moment I received a text from Sarah, I knew this was going to be a good experience. She was so informative from telling me what to expect upon arrival, to letting me know how the hair process would go. She greeted me with the biggest smile and made me feel so welcomed and excited to be there. The shop is incredible to say the least. Beauty is all around you from the locally crafted jewelry, candles, and soaps to the art work on the walls and the hair products Sarah makes herself and actually used in my hair while I was there (which made my hair so soft and silky, I just had to buy it ????). The music is good, the vibe is everything, and the conversation flowed as if we have known each other for years. You can tell that they care about supporting their community, and you will leave so happy you supported these dope ladies. Been coming here for a few years now. Cannot imagine going anywhere else. Not only are these women MAGIC, the vibe here is perfect. I get compliments on my hair everywhere I go - for WEEKS TO MONTHS after getting it colored. People are always shocked at how vibrant my hair is eight weeks after coloring. Also, the handmade goods are fantastic. I use the scrubs and lotions daily, they’re lux and smell heavenly. 100% recommend this place if you want gorgeous hair, fun company, and to enjoy getting your hair done. I absolutely love every visit to Potions. The salon & shop are bright & welcoming. The shop has so many unique/fun/local products, it's a great place to browse for a gift or stock up on essentials like soap & incense! All of the hair stylists are nice and fun to chat with. I have my hair done by Sarah and appreciate how she always listens to what I ask for & then makes my hair dreams reality (my cousins keep raving about how natural my hair looks, went from natural blonde->red & they say it looks like it's always been my hair!). 10/10 recommend - won't go anywhere else!
