ASH Hair Salon & Blow Dry Bar

Worst haircut I've ever gotten. Worse than the desperation Supercuts haircut a year ago. I explained what I wanted and explicitly said NOT to do anything with my bangs. She proceeded to thin them and attempted to even them out, which made them look terrible. After she blow dried my hair and somehow made my hair look kind of ok. The next day when I did my hair myself I was shocked. No matter how I parted my hair, EVERY layer was uneven. I went to another salon and in order to fix it I would have to cut my hair very short. I declined. Now I have to wear my hair in a ponytail or wear a hat everyday until the layers grow out. And here's the kicker...it cost $92. $92 for a hack job. I wouldn't pay that much for a good haircut. Needless to say I will NOT go there again and I do not recommend this place. I had to rate it one star, but it doesn't even deserve that.

Gina has been coloring/highlighting and styling my hair for over 22 years! She is absolutely the best. A true artist, she continues to learn about new techniques and new products so her clients have the latest and very best. Ash Salon in Fairfield is full of friendly professionals. I always feel welcomed and comfortable when I have a hair appointment and I leave feeling and looking better then when I entered! The photo below was taken today at the end of my appointment. Gina provided an A+ experience today and has since I found the salon after moving from Westchester. She really listened to me and treated my super dry hair issue (from well water and other product buildup) with a moisturizing clarifying shampoo (yes it’s a thing), signature moisture mask (with super soothing scalp massage), roots color touch up, detailed hair cut and blow dry. Thank you for such a wonderful job and very fair pricing. I love the formaldehyde -free keratin treatment and I also appreciate being able to book appointments from the Vagaro app. I recommend Ash Salon highly!
