Magic Nails

I went here about a week ago. I brought my mom who got a full set with pedicure and was pleased. She also got her chin waxed in which the woman wasn't quite sure of what she was doing. The hairs on my mother skin started growing back only after a couple of days. I got a fill and a pedicure. I had to go back the following day because the polish on my nails were sloppy and the nails had to be buff because they were rough. The place is very nice the owner is great however I'm unsure about the sanitation of their supplies as I now have fungus growing under my nails. I've never had fungus as long as I've been getting my nails done so low and behold you can believe I am highly upset. Especially having paid over $200 for both my mother and I. They do a wonderful job with designs but jut for future reference I will not be spending my money at this establishment in the future. Sanitation is a top priority for me. First of all it’s mid day Tuesday, and my gel polish is already chipping after waiting almost TWO HOURS to get my nails done on Sunday at this joke of a place. Every time we grew impatient we were told our wait was almost over. Whatever, we chose to wait so that’s on us. We were told a full set was $46 dollars. One of us was getting a full set, one of us just needed a fill. We were both charged $46 dollars. I left with glue, and polish all over my fingers. I’ve never paid the price of a full set for just a fill for it to start chipping less then three days later. Oh FYI they only accept cash on Sundays so be prepared for that inconvenience. Don’t waste your time or your hard earned money.

My absolute favorite nail shop in Bridgeport. Magic Nails is always a quiet and relaxing environment with seamless interactions. I make my appointment online & when I show up they are always prepared and get me in and out right away. They take their time on my pedicures and you get the works (hot stones, leg scrub, etc) for a very reasonable price. The staff are always polite & they make sure the patron areas are clean and put together. I highly recommend ice nails for your pedicure needs.
