5 Stars Nails Spa

I went in there expecting good/average nails done. All the reviews I was seeing were very good. Instead, I got half done nails and my design was poor there were spots missing polish all over and she rushed through my pedicure. Their website said 55$ For my manicure but I ended up getting charged $80. I understand paying a little extra for the design, but come on.… That’s only if I actually get the design I wanted. My friend went in with me and her nails turned out awesome though. The man working with her was very nice and took his time. The store was pretty and clean. Just not the experience I was hoping for and I didn’t go in there with crazy expectations. I got the luxury pedicure and will never go anywhere else! The salon is so welcoming and smells clean. They have tons of polish choices and started my appointment early. The technician was fantastic and paid close attention to all the details and didn’t rush a single step, even when they got busy. Her massage was so relaxing and even worked out several knots which was unexpected. She checked several times on how I was doing which I really appreciated. I’ve debated leaving this but the more I look at my nails the more unhappy I am with them. Decided to give this place one last chance after poor service a few years ago. Every nail is crooked, and not just a slightly off but one side was filed flat and straight and the opposite is filed at a curve. Some of the extensions are completely sideways on my nails or don’t even cover the whole nail. I had to file the tops of every single one as soon as I left just to have them flat in the top as they were all slanted. The tech left glue all over my fingers tops and bottom. Globs of acrylic on the underside where he did not file or clean them up. There is no apex at all and the tips are extremely thick. I also felt extremely pressured to get gel on my nails instead of polish. I declined, and 2 other techs came up to me to ask if I was sure which was extremely inappropriate. At that point it seemed like the tech was just doing the bare minimum to get me out of the seat. 45+ dollars spent and I a
