First time with Araiya and I won’t be back. All the reviews were good so maybe it’s just me but I hate this haircut. I have grey hair and asked her if it would work with the haircut I chose. She said no problem but one side is too short. Stiffer grey hairs stick out straight from my head. Longer side isn’t blended or thinned so it just lays in a line on top of the shorter hair below it like a mop. It always looks bad whether I blow dry and roll brush or just let it dry. It will take a long time for this to grow out enough to fix it. Service: Haircut

When you’re new in town, it’s always a bit nerve-wracking to find the right hair stylist. After reading Zuma Hair Studio’s great reviews, I called to make an appointment. The wonderfully exuberant AuBree cut my hair today, and I couldn’t be happier! She took plenty of time discussing with me what I liked and disliked about my hair, and then proceeded to give me a great new style! She even said I could let her know if something doesn’t work once I begin styling it on my own and she would fix it. I’m absolutely thrilled! And the salon itself has a very nice vibe. I had purchased three gift cards for friends and family based off of the good reviews prior to trying out Zuma. When I tried it for myself, I was disappointed in the blowout I received. Unfortunately, women with curly hair get rushed service often. Stylists feel like they don’t need to take the time to make our hair smooth and sleek. My hair was very much rushed, wet and frizzy after the blow dry. As a business, it’s important to treat all different types of hair equally. A lot of women with ethnic hair, have gone through the same thing. It’s make customers feel like they don’t deserve to have good service because their hair take more time than others.
