JCPenney Salon

Made an appointment for 4:15pm. Came in and there’s no one at the front desk. Rang the bell and someone finally came out and said they’ll be right with me. Waited 15 minutes and still no one came out. Left without getting a haircut. Never coming here again. I’ve had faster service with a walk-in.

I went there after totally screwing up my hair by dying it at home…. Blue… and I have blonde hair. I had tried to fix my hair myself also… all together a bad idea. I went in asking for a haircut, thinking the only way to fix my hair was to cut the blue tips (4+ inches) off. 4 hours later I came out with my hair beautiful color and cut. The dye I originally used was stubborn but both Andria and Emily would not give up. They did everything they knew to make sure I looked and felt beautiful when I left. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciated them on this day. I no longer had to hide my hair in a bun at work. They have a client for life and I’ll tell everyone I know. Another thing is they changed me the same amount I was originally quoted even for the amount of time it took.

Do not go here for a men’s haircut. Worst haircut in my adult life. My hair dresser acted like she had never cut men’s hair before and used hair clips on my hair. I had to go get another salon to fix my hair and they were shocked at how uneven and piecemeal the haircut was. They needed coaching through the entire haircut on what to do. The hair cut took an hour and they kept asking if the haircut was done before they had even cut all of my hair. Best of all, I had a 5pm appointment and showed up on time. There were only two people working in n the entire salon. The person I had a reservation with said they would have to cancel my appointment as they were coloring someone’s hair so I should come back at 7pm!
