If you go to this salon I highly recommend booking with Emmy Pack. Whether it’s a color, cut or treatment Emmy always makes sure to deliver a high quality experience. Emmy is professional, knowledgeable and passionate about her career. Another thing I appreciate about Emmy is her transparency with prices.Prior to beginning a service Emmy gives you an upfront quote and it is always a fair price. TRU Salon is TRULY THE WORST SALON in Colorado Springs. The owners (Kat and Hartley) refuse to take responsibility for mishaps and unhappy clients. Firstly, I was not made aware of rate increases until I was sitting in the salon chair. I was completely blindsided and not prepared to be charged 200.00 for a partial highlight. When I voiced my concern I was told that I was “rude” for doing so. I tried to explain that questioning rates is simply being assertive. I was seen by Emmy- I asked for platinum (partial highlights) and, after 3 1/2 hours, walked out with PINK hair! She did not speak to me the entire length of the service (apparently she was offended that I could be so rude as to question the rate increase) Then she ignored me when I told her I was seeing rose tones instead of violet… said everyone sees different hues….!?!? I couldn’t be happier with the result that I got! I am OBSESSED with how Alyssa is able to transform my hair. It’s great to have someone who truly listens to what I want in a cut and color. Alyssa is a very talented stylist and always creates a comfortable environment when I get my hair done. She is my go-to stylist in Colorado.
