A week ago, I met with Trisha about getting a body wave and root perm. Today, she cancelled my appointment an hour before it was supposed to occur due to family emergency. I'm a single mom, so I understand. She referred me to Robin, so at the last minute I drove myself and disabled son from Englewood to their salon. I found Robin and her blonde associate ( Russian accent perhaps?) to be very combative and unprofessional. I pulled up an article written by a Stylist about the different types of perms, but they insisted it's impossible to do larger curls in a perm. After so many minutes of showing them photos and an article about the different types of perms, I realized they had made up their mind. On the way out the door Robin said "You'll have to go to New York for that", implying that it IS indeed possible to get a body wave perm, and they don't know how. Ladies, please don't waste people's time. If you don't know how to do it, just admit it.
I have been a client of Jennifer’s for 17 years. I moved to Kansas and still drive the 560 miles to have her cut my kRAZy curly hair (and see friends of course) Jen is amazing and a magician in her talents with cut, color and style. She is also a beautiful soul ????
If you are looking for an amazing salon, this is the place to go!! I drive down 45 minutes just to get my hair done, because Jen is so amazing! I have been going to Salon Aspen since Jen bought it, and will not go anywhere else! Not only is the service amazing, but the salon is always perfectly clean. I also go to get a mani/pedi, eyebrow waxes, and coloring done here. A few of my favorites there are: Jen, Lori, Robin, and Heidi, but everyone there is perfect! If you need a salon, this is the place to go!
