I got my nails done here for my wedding. Not only are they beautiful but the service was fabulous. I was late to my appointment but they still made it work. I recently moved to Castle Rock and have been looking for a good nail place. Pamper Nails is not it. Let's break my experience down. Overall: peaceful environment with not too much noise. However, there was a sense of uncleanness at this facility. The "steam towels" were faded and old looking. The pillow used to hold my hands for manicure was dirty and not fresh. I smelled some smells that are not typical of nail salons, and it certainly put me off. The mani/pedi: I got a hot stone combo mani/pedi. I did not realize that it was done at the same time. How can one relax when someone is towering over you doing mani and at the same time another person is doing pedi? Not me. The paraffin wax was on for about 5 minutes TOPS, instead of recommended 10-15 minutes plus. The calluses/dry skin was first treated with a "cheese grater" -- I have not had my feet cheese-grated for ages. This is a last century practice. The service quality continues to down, and the prices go up. I am a man and have been getting manicures for many years. I know what a quality manicure looks and feels like. I have been going to this location for a long time, and it seems like since there was a management change or ownership change the price has increased and the quality has decreased dramatically. I have given them numerous chances, and every time I leave disappointed. They charge almost $30 for a poor manicure that was done in about 10 mins! No buff, barely any lotion/massage, barely any filing, and the trimming around the cuticle/nail fold looks really rough on some nails. I asked her to cut my nails shorter, and she told me no. I guess she though that I am man who is not used to having manicures, and I don't know what I want. I didn't argue, I just got up, paid and left. I will not be going back to this salon. $25 for a poor rush job is not a way I want to spend my time and money. This is not the first ti
