Ulta Beauty

Although I enjoy coming to Ulta, two of the items that I wanted were not in stock, even though samples were displayed. Hopefully as supply chain issues are resolved, items will be fully stocked soon.

The store is beautiful, and well stocked, unfortunately the employees aren't very knowledgeable about the products sold in the store. They were able to guide me to the best sellers but nothing beyond that. I asked what the difference was between some very simple products and I didn't get more than, "Oh they're good products" I rephrased my question and asked what is the purpose of the very specific ingredients? She says "They do the same thing"???. I then told her the concerns I had and if she could guide me to find products that would help my issues. She was not able to help. She was truly clueless. I thanked her for her help and asked for a different product in another category of the store where there was another clueless person not knowing anything about the products in her area of the store. I thanked her and walked back to the first area where I still stood with alot of questions and luckily a CUSTOMER that was very knowledgeable was able to help me. Since leaving the store I ha

Originally I had a hair cut scheduled with Dulce at the Whittier location, an hour before my appointment the receptionist called asking if I can come later because the hairdresser is going to be late. I said that was fine and that I can understand. I then showed up for my appointment ten minutes early, I checked in with the receptionist and she informed me that she will let the hairdresser know that I am here. Nearly half hour later, I walk up to the reception desk again, the receptionist is nowhere to be found. A different hairdresser steps away from his client to ask if I've been helped. He walked over to who I'm assuming was Dulce and returned letting me know it would be at least another 15 minutes. I would have been happy to be accommodating again and waited had someone addressed me instead of letting me sit there mindlessly for nearly half an hour.
