K Salon By Kevin TD

I'm reluctant to write this review as Kevin really is a great guy. I let him know I was unhappy with the haircut and he offered me to come back and redo the perm and cut, but as I live over an hour away, this was not possible. From his pictures and reviews, it's clear that Kevin is skilled, but unfortunately I felt like I received a rushed and lackluster experience. I came to see Kevin for a perm and haircut and from the start, I felt like he was rushed. He would set a timer, but then come before the timer went off to rush me to the next step. There was another part where he told me to go to a different room, and I sat there waiting as he was chatting with someone in front and his assistant came and asked what I was doing in that room, to which I responded, "Kevin told me to come here". She seemed puzzled but moved me to the next station. There was another miscommunication where his assistant set a timer but then he came in early to wash out the perm before that timer went off too. Kevin really knows his hair and how to cater to each individual who sits on his chair. He recommended me a root perm which I wasn’t too familiar with, but I never knew I needed this in my life. Perms are much more than just curls and waves!! He checks in so often to make sure I feel comfortable and the area is so clean and professional. Really recommend coming in for any hair questions and suggestions ????

My first time getting a perm and Kevin welcomed me with open arms. My hair turned out exactly the way I wanted. Great place. Would recommend 10/10.
