Salon Republic Sunnyvale

First saw this concept in LA, so I was familiar with the layout when I came here for the first time to see my stylist’s new location. It’s basically an indoor business park for personal services - eyelash, hair, nails, etc. with each small business independently owned. If you’re coming here, you likely already know for what and with who, so it’s not like you walk in and can pick what place you want to go to without and appointment. It’s bright and clean, with bathrooms and a service desk at the front entrance just in case you’re not sure where you need to go. Overall, I’m glad I have my trusted stylist closer to me and a few other places in here I’ve been meaning to check out. That said, Crystalliste is amazing for hair (and just generally amazing as a person). She’s been my go-to for 7 years now!

My hair stylist moved to Salon Republic, so I started going here. Inside there are a fairly large number of "suites" (my word for it - not sure what they call them), that are rented out to the different people. Clients, like me, then patronize the individual stylist. Most of the people working there offer hair services, some for women, some for men, some for both men & women. Other services are offered too, but I've not looked into that. They then can share common things like towels, hot water usage, etc. Overall, as a client, it's good. Target is next door, so there's lots of parking. Whole Foods is on the other side, so lots of parking there too. The reason for one star removed is all of the construction. Eventually, it'll all get finished, but for now (May, 2023), it's a bit of a hassle.

Today I went there and Danyelle cut my hair. I asked her cut medium bob hairstyle. And I didn't regret. She did it wonderful. I liked it a lot. She did great job. she is very professional. I highly recommend her.
