ELEGANT SPA AND NAILS

Do not book online with this business. It was my mothers birthday & I tried doing something nice for her. I booked 2 separate appointments through their online system. I got to salon and the nail techs I booked with were busy & their excuse was that they hadn't checked their own online appointment system. I was very excited to make an appointment with a specific nail tech because of his beautiful nail designs I had seen on here. Made no accommodations. Someone is ended up doing a basic manicure on my mom & even after all they had already messed up on they charged full price. Embarrassing. one of the employees kept apologizing but in the end the manager did not own up to their own error. Do not have a online booking system if you aren't going to follow it nor be respectful of customers time. Very very disappointing & unfortunate way to start my mothers special day.. I have given 5 stars review for this salon on Yelp in the past. However, this review is based my experience from my last visit on Friday. I called and tried to schedule appointment with Lena (10 stars manicurist), someone confirmed my appointment. Half hour later, a lady called back told me Lena couldn't be there to do my gel manicure. She asked if I would be okay to have another person do it and I said that's fine. Mary was polite at first, and I thank her for letting me know about Lena's absent. I came with my nails clean and short, no gel leftover from last manicure. I requested minimum cutting because I didn't have much cuticle either the top or both side of my nails, only on the corner of my fingers. I wasn't sure if she heard me or she didn't understand? 10 mins after she started, she was distracted because she was talking to other staffs with her own language. The worst came at the last 5 mins of the service, she was applying the last coat, and she was rushing to finis

I was able to be seen for a pedicure without an appointment which I appreciated. They have a wide selection of colors to choose from. They work very hard and efficiently. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
