Uptown New York Style Hair Salon

One thing my mom and I truly appreciate from Cece is that she always applies a base to our scalp. I have a sensitive scalp, and I have always been concerned a-bout my scalp burning when I get a relaxer, but with Cece, I've never had this as a problem. Also, Cece cares about making you look good, and she gets you in and out in a reasonable time frame.

I have been getting my hair done at Uptown New York Style for over 20 years. First 10 by Louticia and now her daughter, Cecelia. Not only are they both amazing ladies they both are talented hairdressers! I've been wearing Louticia's systems for years. I'm wearing one in my profile picture. Check them out.... you will not be disappointed. Had a death in the family and Cecelia worked me in before my flight. She's an amazing young woman that I have truly come to love. Thanks ladies!!!

Where do I begin?! I have been going to Uptown New York Style, religiously, since I was 19 years old--I will be 34 in a few days (that should speak volumes, alone!). Cecilia and Ms. Louticia are incredibly professional, highly-skilled, timely, communicative, and are absolutely adamant about hair education. You will always leave there more informed about how to care for your hair--whatever style you are rocking. There's a great teaching moment in every visit and I am always thankful for it. The salon is immaculate and the energy is calm and inviting. I have gotten everything done there and have been 100% satisfied across the board each and every time (this is an understatement). I always leave there lighter and happier and more confident than ever--as I know every client of their's does. My love for Cecilia and Ms. Louticia goes well beyond this review! xx
