My hair has never looked better. Chloe always blows me away with how well she does my hair. It looks healthy and shiny and the highlights are always just right. Michael gave me (guy) a great haircut. Before any cutting happened, we went over what I do with my hair, what I wanted, and that sort of stuff. I don’t think I communicated what I wanted that well, and I still got the best haircut I have ever had. Would highly recommend this salon, as my partner also went here and loved her haircut.

I had my hair cut by Michelle for many years prior to leaving SF and am certainly missing S+L. "Stylist" doesn't begin to describe Michelle. Her personal approach goes beyond understanding the technical aspects of what hairstyles work when and for whom and into an understanding of who YOU are and what hairstyle works for YOU and why. Sessions were quick & professional when they needed to be while others were borderline therapeutic. Whenever I walked away from a haircut with Michelle I not only looked great but also felt understood. What's better than that? As for the venue itself, S+L is a sleek & clean place with friendly and helpful staff. The location is also convenient: short walk from Bart or bus/muni and there's coffee & food right next door.
