Population Salon Nopa

Jordon was fun to talk to, but the short haircut he did was just so-so. I asked him to cut it shorter in the back and he refused, so I have a hair cut that looks like I need a haircut. The salon is really nice with great front desk staff and seems to do awesome work on long hair. It's hard to find a stylist that can do short hair on women and Jordon isn't it. Service: Haircut

I've been a loyal customer of Population Mission for several years, and have been bragging about the salon since my first cut. I needed a trim in between regular appointments, and decided to make a last minute appointment at the Nopa location with a stylist I've never had. What could go wrong, my past appointments were all incredible and I just needed a trim? My cut with Damiano was terrible. Instead of a trim, he cut 4-5 inches off my hair after we discussed at length that I was trying to grow it out, and I didn't want to lose any more than I had to. my stylists have been working with me for years to conserve length - he just undid two years worth of work. To add insult to injury, he barely blow dried it and it was frizzy the second I left the salon. I cried my entire walk home, and still cry when I look in the mirror. You made me hate my hair when it used to be the one thing that made me feel pretty.

Damiano is the only person I fully trust cutting my weird hair. Others are good too. Satisfied customer for 10+ years. The owner, Brian, initially referred me and also gives an amazing cut, just in too high demand.
