I was over the moon to find Cat from a friend’s recommendation. She cut my curly hair with care and thought. It is obvious she has both skill and education when it comes to cutting curly hair. She styled it beautifully and explained styling techniques and ideas. Cat is also a fun and delightful person to speak with. Also such a cute spot with easy parking. All around a fantastic experience!

I have had my hair done by some of the top professionals in NYC, London and LA - anytime I go back to those cities with my "hair by Cat", I get nothing but compliments. She is a true artist with a deep understanding of colour theory and an incredible eye for detail. However, what I think makes her stand out from the crowd is her honesty and how she will not just do something because her client requested it. She cares about the integrity of everyone's hair and understands that each person's hair has limits. Cat is truly one of a kind and I would recommend her to anyone (no matter your hair type) that is interested in quality that will not damage your hair. What a beautiful gem of a location! I have had the great luck of finding Cat five years ago. I had moved from north California down to San Diego and I was completely lost. From the very first day Cat has been respectful and kind. She has styled everything for me : highlights, baby lights, balayage, bangs, layers and pretty much any hair style picture I bring in!
