I had a really wonderful experience at Trap Queen Salon. I did mermaid (purple and teal) colored peekaboo highlights. I’ve never dyed my hair before so I didn’t know what to expect. Andrea was super attentive and really strove to meet my request, from reviewing multiple times with me the photos I brought, to double checking that the color dyes were right, and ensuring that I would be satisfied with the final trim and cut. I think the only thing I’d ask is for more information up front about the choices I’m requesting. As I mentioned I had never dyed my hair before, and it wasn’t until after we had set the dye that she said that the teal color tends to fade faster. If I had known that, I would’ve stuck with the dark blue that she originally brought out. But, honestly, I can’t complain. I waited over a week to write this review just to make sure I was still happy with the final result, and I am! I think it’s a gorgeous cut and dye, very subtle, which is exactly what I asked for.
