Hands down the BEST salon for extensions. Sarah is my go-to girl. She’s such a talented (from extensions to coloring and cut) stylist and really knows her craft. Not only are Salt strands the BEST hair out there, it lasts forever, and you can’t even tell you have them. I can’t speak highly enough about this salon (added bonus: the vibe/design is on point)! I’ve been getting my hair done with Val for about two years now and followed her to Salt Strands. The moment you walk in you immediately feel the hospitality and warmth the girls at the salon exude. Chloe always greets with a warm smile, always offering to get you a water or make you a coffee. So they always ask what vibe you’re going for in regards to color and I never know (lol) but I trust Val to go above and beyond and she always has the best input to make you feel at ease. I have no clue what happens at the shampoo bowl but let me tell you, THATS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS! Chloe gives the best scalp massages ever. Then back at the chair you’re getting your extensions put in, and they’re Val’s personal Salt Strands hairline. I have never had better extensions than these. They dry so quickly and hold any hairstyle for a long time. I can’t rave about them enough. And the fact that they are seamless with my hair color says a lot about the quality of her hairline! I have been going to Val for 2.5 years and always walk away from my hair appointments feeling that I look my best! I had some damage to my hair from coloring/bleach before I started seeing Val. I like that the stylists from Salt Strands have the goal of giving the client the look they desire while maintaining the integrity and health of your hair. I drive 2 hours to my hair appointments because I only trust Val and her team of stylists with my hair. It’s an added bonus that Salt Strands is the cutest salon and provides such a fun, laid back experience. No stuck up bougie salon vibes here!
