I have been coming to Thairapy salon for four years and it has done wonders for my hair. The staff is always great and helpful. The space is beautiful and a relaxing treat. Audi is an amazing stylist. She is always honest about what my hair needs, truly listens to what I want for my style and makes it happen. Sitting in her chair is always a good time! I had my first ever curly cut today with Alexis. I am so happy with cut and the experience as she listened to my hair concerns. I felt relieved that it turned out looking so healthy after the cut. Alexis took her time and taught me step by step how to care for and style my hair. I really appreciate her attention to detail and caring nature. She was very professional and can't wait to go back for my next appointment. ???? -Tania

Nice salon, however not for someone with course tight curls like 4a,4b,4c. My stylist was 15 minutes late which wasn’t a big deal for me however I felt like she rushed the consultation and talked me out of getting a short style pixie cut and instead I left with my hair looking the same and maybe 2 inches taken off. I told her I wasn’t a big fan of the outcome asked if she could cut more off. Could tell she was not happy, she mentioned it would be a whole new haircut and style and she had dinner plans. I get it would have been more time. But I’m paying $225 for a cut and style she should have been more gracious and instead made me feel like it was my fault even though I wanted that cut to begin with. My first experience with this salon I won’t return. African hair needs to be treated with a stylist who understands what’s it like to walk in my shoes. And she obviously did not understand.
