Friendly staff and easy access to parking. The manicurist was great and knowledgeable. I've only had acrylic nails once before and Marina helped me decide what to do about them based on the current condition of my nails and my line of work. There was also a lot of nail art styles to decide off of through the instagram page @highvoltagenails. Will definitely be back!

Long review warning, but so worth the read! I have been going to salons my entire life looking for someone who would do what I was beginning to believe was "The Impossible". Turns out what is impossible was totally regular fare for the main stylist at The Electric Beauty Lab. I have had my hair done from salons in Arkansas, Washington DC, Florida, California, even the United Kingdom and NEVER has anyone actually achieved what I wanted. And it only took ONE visit. So what is this impossible feat...? Well, I have course, yet thin stranded, kinky African American hair. It tangles and mattes even after it has been straightened. It is dry and it is short and broken. I cut my hair down to 2" to give it a fresh start (without a relaxer) and had been watching YouTube videos to learn from so called "Natural Hair Gurus" about how to grow my now newly afro'ed tresses into gorgeous waist length hair down my back.
