1202 Salon and Spa

Like the salon interior setting, humble..we had hair cut with Yaling, she is terrific, can catch individual needs.. very happy experience.

I found 1202 salon and spa after reading countless of reviews about how fabulous this place is. I wasn’t disappointed! I was fortunate enough to have Chelsea do my hair. She’s one of the nicest and most professional stylists I’ve ever met. Chelsea was so thorough with her work and made me feel right at ease while doing my hair. It’s clear she puts a lot of heart into what she does! I love how Chelsea had a consultation with me a day prior to doing my hair. This gave me plenty of time to think over how I wanted everything done. The next day, Chelsea got right to work. She gave me partial highlights, which turned out so vibrant and beautiful. I was really impressed with how effortlessly she blended the new highlights with the old ones I got at a different salon. Chelsea also gave me a haircut, which turned out fantastic too! My favorite, Andy, has moved to the 1202 Salon in Pasadena. I’ve been going to him for probably 10 years for color and cut. He always gets both my color and cut JUST right. My root color is a very, very dark blonde and before I found Andy, not everyone got the highlights right. Sometimes they were underdone which gives you a reddish, brassy tone OR overdone and you’re a platinum blonde. Somehow, Andy has always gotten my color just PERFECT. He’s also a very nice guy!
