Joanna's Beauty Salon

We will definitely be going back. I've been looking for a new place/person to do my hair. My girls and I walked in and we were greated the second we walked in. We waited for about 35 mins, not bad considering we were 2 walk ins. My 9 year old decided to chop of her hair and Joanna made it happen. My 5 year old has thick wavy hair and on more than one occasion I've been told by the stylist to thin it out and her hair cuts haven't been the best. But Joanna went in on it and handled it ! She told my kiddo more than once that she had beautiful hair and that she loved it. She sat there the whole time with a smile on her face I recommend this place.

Walk in on time and was seen right away. She didn't clarify my name though so i thought it was odd, and didnt know i had asked for a wash, trim, and style for my hair and a full makeup application. Was pretty good and she was nice to talk to, but after curling my hair, she disnt put hair spray to keep the curls, so when my makeup was almost done, i noticed all my curls had fallen out! Makeup looked decent. I really liked the false eyelashes!... but the eye makeup was a bit too dark and the contouring for my cheekbones was too high and too blended to the point that it didnt make a difference. The eyebrows were too dark and i wasn't happy with the uneven cateye eyeliner but it was already past when i was supposed to leave so I didn't want to make myself even more late for my photo session. She went back and added a few curls to my hair again but once mpre, no hair spray and when i got to where our photo session was, the curls had fallen out AGAIN.
