Nora is rad and has been very down to work with all the mixed ideas I’ve been trying out, and also very into direct communication throughout the haircut. Cool guy, good scissors. Glamarama’s gmaps hours aren’t accurate though, accurate times are only on their Vagaro.
Edit: NO LONGER AT GLAMARAMA. Find her on Instagram to follow her. Kasi Bailey is a spitfire of a rock n roll hair priestess. I literally duck-duck-go'd "rock n roll" to find a new hair cutter to help me tame my accidentally glorious but outta control pandemic mane. This scissor sister made me look human again, giving me long layers that fall perfectly all over and make my hair thicker looking and easier to style. She knows exactly what she's doing and is a fun conversationalist as well, so much so that on my second visit, I spaced out while she very skillfully cut what she thought I asked for but I think my description was rather confusing. I realized it, called back and she fixed me right up, no hassle. Love her!
This place is hard to write a review for because each stylist is different and some people stay and others go. At one point this was my go to place and I got some of the best haircuts of my life. Recently it seems to have gone down hill. My last haircut was so bad that I will not be coming back again under any circumstances. The stylist had no idea how to cut my hair. Unless you know your stylist, I recommend going just about anywhere else because this place is also expensive. If you throw down $20 and get a bad haircut, it's really a case of you get what you pay for. But if you throw down $50-$70 for a haircut that is so bad that it takes months to regrow and the whole time you feel self conscious and uncomfortable... well, let's just say it feels bad enough that you feel obligated to write a review.
