I walked in SDL for my first time when passing it after my Pilates class next door to see if they happened to have an open slot for a blow out. Maryam (the owner) greeted me and said she was booked for the day but could squeeze me in at that moment before her next appointment. She was so sweet and asked exactly what I wanted and I love how my blow out turned out! I'm so grateful that she was willing to take me in last minute in her busy day and I cannot wait to come back..with an appointment next time. :) The salon is so clean and BEAUTIFUL you really feel like you're getting pampered. I'm looking forward to bringing my husband in for a cut as she also does men's (and children's) hair cuts! Thank you Maryam for your hospitality and the beautiful business you run!

First time getting a haircut by Sunni, amazing stylist for first cut. I moved to OC from Beverly Hills and had a very hard time finding a stylist that spent the time and gave a unique and very precise cut. She styled my hair perfectly, excellent cut, and was personable. Next cut okay, next cut not so good. My last cut drove to West Hollywood to get hair fixed. I looked like a Afghan dog. The back was chopped and not blended. The bangs did not accentuate features. 4 different cuts. Nothing blended! Ugly. Worse part is when friends tell you it is a bad haircut. It was fixed by Master stylist at Planet Salon. Went from long bob to almost a Pixie cut. The haircut now is cute. I plan to drive to LA now. Better to get hair cut by people that keep up to styles, and know modern cuts.
