I went in to get my hair dyed and I asked for Blue Black. The person who was set to dye my hair kept saying "BLACK?" and I had to correct her by saying "no, BLUE BLACK". My hair was virgin hair. Tell me why my hair came out black. It was super dark. I noticed that the mixture was not blueish at all but purple, which I knew from past experience of dyeing my own hair, would turn my hair black. She told me that in the sun it would look dark blue. That was a lie, it just looked black. I decided to wait until my hair faded all the color out, I went to the store and brought the hair dye to dye my hair the hair color I desired; blue back. No bleach was used and my hair turned out blue black. This proves my point that my natural hair was not the reason why my hair turned out black when I got it done at the salon, meaning that whomever did my hair did indeed dye my hair black. I have been going to Totally You salon 25 years or more. Different owners through the years. I get a cut and color a few times a year. Always happy when I leave there.
