I highly recommend Bliss Nails & Spa to anyone looking for a top-notch nail salon in La Mesa. The staff are friendly and professional, and the service is impeccable. I had a gel manicure and nail design done here and it was flawless!

Came in to have my acrylics transitioned back to just gel. Nail tech with short hair proceeded to chop off my nails and try to rip the acrylics right off along with all of my nails. I could have ripped my own nails down to paper, I wouldn’t have come in to pay a professional to do so. I told them to stop and please just file them down smooth and put gel on top. They tried to convince me to not do so because it would take 30 min extra. I persisted I didn’t care and would rather they don’t tear my nails off to paper thin. They filed my nails down with the spinning grinder and cut me. Then, they dunked my hands in a bowl of acetone and covered with a bag to have me sit as my open wound burned. After all was said and done they finished my manicure. There are bumps under at least 5 of my nails. Not happy with my experience. I won’t be back.

Love this place ❤ Philip did my nails and my mother's nails. He was fast and really cool and easy to talk to. Give us waters, booked our next appointments , all while running the whole show. I introduced me to the cat eye design that I never tried before. He's amazing ???? love this place Went today 3/4/2023 Nothing has changed. Philip did a short set today and I love the way they turned out. He is always on point. H can look at a picture and do it exactly how you ask him to do it.
