i'm so impressed with everything about this studio. i went earlier today for a curly cut and starr is now my go to hairstylist! her attention to detail was fascinating to watch. every single curl got closely paid attention to and styled individually. starr was also SO warm and friendly and made me feel so comfortable, she knows how to create an uplifting vibe/soothing experience. thank you so much!!

Soooo glad I found Starr! It's always hard to find someone who gets my hair - thin, curly, and a bunch of it. But Starr totally gets how to make it look great, every time. The salon is cute, warm and inviting. She definitely loves what she does, and it shows in her attention to detail and customer service. I can't recommend her enough!

Curly heads look no further! I put off getting a good curly cut for the last 3 years (Covid, moving to Ventura, not trusting anyone with my hair) until I found Star and Unique Hair Studio, and I'm so happy I did! From the booking process, to the cut and styling, to grabbing some products to take home at the end, my whole experience was lovely. Star did an amazing job with my unruly, lots of dead-ends hair, she completely brought it back to life. She provided education and answered all of my questions, and helped me identify a routine that would work with my hair type and active lifestyle. Normally, when I leave a curly cut, I am made to feel like I need 4-5 super pricey products to maintain my hair health. Star didn't pressure me into buying any products and ensured me that I could keep things simple with just two products. Cherry on top of a good haircut is good conversation!
