This place is a solo operation - one chair, one lady working. She’s very amiable and talented! I’ve been here twice. The first time, she took her time with my hair, and we had a really nice conversation as she cut it. What changed the second time was the fact that I went in when no one was there. I thought, great, she’s going to do good on my hair again. Then, 2 older men come in and sit down. They’re both there to get their hair cut too. I notice that she starts cutting my hair faster and a little more aggressively. I wanted a fade, and she gave one to me, but it didn’t match up with the picture she pointed out on the wall in the style that I was expecting. I understand the stress, but I feel like that stress led to a subpar haircut. Another gripe was that she didn’t put alcohol on me, since I asked for a bald fade, and that could lead to bumps or an itch from sweat getting into the Micro-abrasions.
