I’m always excited for my appointments at Arcadia Nail Bar - from the relaxing deluxe pedicure (callous remover, 2 different scrubs, lotion, & moisturizer) to getting my nails done and giving Danny a challenge he’s always up for and executes beautifully every time I go in. He is talented in every area of nails (gel, gel-x, acrylic) and creating all sorts of nail art. This week I had him do a colorful yet refined gel manicure (my thumb nail is actually a gel-x extension because I broke it, and he blended it in perfectly)! I recently visited Arcadia Nail Bar for a gel manicure and pedicure removal with polish, and unfortunately, my experience was highly unsatisfactory. While the pedicure service was great, my focus is primarily on the gel manicure I received. Firstly, I had to insist on using foil for polish removal instead of an electric nail file because the filing was causing discomfort to my nail beds. The technician was initially reluctant to use the foil method, and it took several requests to convince her to stop using the file. Despite the extended time taken for the gel manicure, the end result was extremely disappointing. The polish was noticeably uneven, and I was surprised to discover that no top coat was applied. My nails started chipping only a day after leaving the salon, an issue I’ve never encountered with a gel manicure before. Although the technician offered to redo my nails on another day, considering my experience and the lengthy duration of the service, I have no intention of return
