Vanessa was fantastic! She listened to how much effort I put into styling my hair and cut it to make that easy. Great job on color as well. I look forward to returning in 8 weeks.

Let me start off by sharing to the world that I have the worlds worst hair :) ! How they tamed it amazes me! I have really thick and puffy hair and it's also pretty short so styling it was a nightmare. Veka did a smoothing treatment i don't remember exactly what it was called but my hair is tamed and looks so healthy. I have had some friends that did permanent straightening to their hair at other places and it was stiff and dry but Veka was amazing. My hair actually looks so healthy. I did get some products to take home and i love them. I was a little afraid to try the Kerastase because I used a lot of Paul Mitchell products in the past but i love the way my hair looks and feels. My boss loves my "neat" hair now haha! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! See you for my next cut too!

THANK YOU FRANCES FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I moved to Arcadia a few months ago and I was so nervous to try out a new salon, I had been going to the same person for over 10 years! I desperately in need of a haircut, basically I had resorted to ponytail every day for the past month. I found 1st Ave Salon on line and then checked out their Facebook. I called to see about making an appointment and spoke with Frances who made me feel very comfortable. When I got to the salon, it was easy parking in the back public parking area, I entered the salon and found it to have a nice positive and warm atmosphere! I met with Frances and explained how I would like to have my hair, we talked about the color and then she did her magic…My color was perfectly matched to what I already had, my cut was perfect…. I felt like a new person. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
