Bloom Salon & Beauty Bar

I recently visited Bloom after some abysmal incidents at other salons in Tucson. I will never go to another salon after my amazing experience with Bloom. I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and treated with a delicious peach tea upon arrival. I was then introduced to my stylist, Nadia. She must have gone to Hogwarts because she is MAGICAL! Not only did she work with me to pick out the exact tones I was looking for, but she also went over my budget to ensure I wasn't in for a surprise after all services were performed. The primary reason I needed a new stylist was because for some reason, it was taking over 3-4 hours for other salons to apply bleach to my roots for a simple touch up, then another 1-2 hours for toning. Unheard, unnecessary, and not healthy for my hair. Nadia's skills far surpass anyone that has lightened/toned my hair in the last decade. I started out loving this place. The owner, Erica, cut my hair, although one person washed my hair, Erica spent 7-10 minutes cutting it, and either Erica or someone else would blow-dry and style. It seemed disjointed to have three different people working on my hair, I was paying $75.00 for Erica's expertise, and I liked Erica, so I asked the receptionist if I could be scheduled next time with Erica for shampooing, cutting, and styling. "Sure, no problem." Well, it did seem to be a problem with Erica, and it went downhill from there. Erica seemed annoyed with my request and said, "that's not how we work". The last time I visited the salon, I had a Saturday afternoon appointment. When I arrived, on-time, there was one stylist and customer in the salon and no receptionist in sight. I could hear giggling from the back room. I asked the stylist to let them know I was there. More giggling, and the receptionist came out after several more minutes and asked if I was there to make an appointme
