LeMonds - Aveda Salon and Spa at The Wigwam

My employer held a managers’ conference here at The Wigwam, and we were able to take advantage of a massage at this spa. I had never had a full, professional massage before and wasn’t sure what to expect. John was the one who took care of me, and it was an amazing experience! He gave me information, offered me different levels of intensity, listened to my questions, informed me of what he was noticing in my muscles, and tailored the massage to meet MY body’s needs! Absolute perfection. Afterward I got to relax in a sauna and steam room, and although there was a hot tub and heated pool, I decided instead to simply relax on a lounge chair and rehydrate. It was an experience that I must have again! Thank you to John and the staff who made this such a wonderful experience. If you are anywhere near Phoenix, you need to make a stop here!

If I could give this place zero stars I would if that were an option. Red flags from the start. When we were booking for four girls we were able to book massages but couldn't add anything to it, we emailed and called multiple times with zero response. We ended up coming here not even knowing if they were open due to the lack of communication but we did since we had already spent the money. Upon arrival we were each given STAINED robes with an unpleasant smell. The masseuses did a very good job. We went for a steam and when my mother was looking out the window to see if the jacuzzi was open she burnt herself on a pipe that wasn't visible due to the steam. We let the girls at the front know that their should at least be a sign. The girls could care less and when asked for a manger, nobody was even working that day. There was never any drinking water in the jugs, we had to go all the way up the receptionist if we wanted to order food or drinks or try to add a service. Extremely inconvenie

It's a dedicated spa space that is simple, quiet, and beautiful. The quality of the experience is fantastic. Recommend going early before your services to enjoy the space.
