Amaxx Hair Salon

Amaxx is the perfect family hair salon! The stylists know how to cut women's, men's, and children's hair; our entire family has been coming here since 2006. From the time our granddaughter was two years old, Amaxx has been our salon. Even my husband got his hair cut by Alicia and he never went back to a barbershop again! In addition to cuts, Amaxx also offers facials and facial waxing. I am lucky to have found Alicia when we moved here 16 years ago. Being new to the area, I had tried the corporate salons with poor results. Once I found Alicia at Amaxx, I never went anywhere else! I have utilized every hair styling service they have to offer: shampoo, cut, style, perm, and color. When I first walked in, I had a photo with a rough idea of what I wanted: lots of texture! When I asked for modifications, Alicia made them and my hairstyle came out perfectly. Since my hair is short I come in about every 6 weeks. She remembers exactly what I want each time. I really like this place first time today , I took my "special needs kid" and the young girl was very patient , polite and understanding.

SO DISAPPOINTED!…I called in for my daughter to get a price for a perm. They said they could not give me a price until they seen my daughters hair. She said we needed a 50$ down payment and it would go towards the perm. When we arrived this morning they looked at my daughters hair and said it was going to be 350$ and it would take 5 hours and the perm would last 6 months to a year. I asked if they colored hair and she said yes if I wanted to color it today I said no I was just looking around. She said well we don’t have anything open today anyways. I told my daughter to hold off as I went to my car to see if I could find something cheaper. My daughter comes out to tell me they spoke to their supervisor and they can do it for 265$ plus the $50 which comes up to 335$…We decided to find something cheaper and some where more friendly. They would not give us our deposit back and we had to buy some of their products since we would not use the deposit as a credit towards any hair servi
