GRAY SALON & blow dry bar

Salon has a great and friendly atmosphere. Any time I have gone for highlights or full blonding I have been happy with the results. The only issue I will not be returning because of, is that I was given multiple add on services such as a keratin treatment and deep condition of which I did not ask for or consent to. Both of those raised my bill over 150 more than the stylist discussed.i could understand if pricing got raised after a quote due to extra bowls of bleach or toner but these were strictly add on treatments ( per site) that I was not asked nor told about. I have no problem paying for services but don't appreciate this scenario.

I went to see Genevieve for a balayage, after she told me the last time I went to her for full highlights, that all I needed was a balayage and I needed a haircut. Showed her my inspiration pictures and I thought all was well. She completely BUTCHERED my hair. She cut it almost 2 inches too short and it looked absolutely nothing like the picture I showed her. And the balayage? She completely erased the highlights I had before and gave me virtually nothing. I contacted her after I left the salon because I was so embarrassed, I honestly just wanted to get out of there. She offered to add a "few" foils for the highlights I originally wanted and didn't get and she offered to add a few pieces on the sides of my hair to "fix" this horrific cut she gave me. I look like a boy. My hair was supposed to be at least an inch longer than my chin. My entire haircut is 1/2" ABOVE my chin and looks nothing like what I asked for. Jonathan was OUTSTANDING even with a non-conventional cut! Definitely recommend him! On top of that, staff was super friendly, made me feel very welcome. Very clean and very professional. I'd give 6 stars if I could!
