Salon Poppy

I was very disappointed in my cut, the last 2 times I’ve been in there’s been a new stylist I haven’t had before, and my stylist I had in the past was not there. I’m not sure if people keep quitting, or what. Services: Shampoo & conditioning, Hairstyling

The woman that cut my hair just moved from wisconsin to alaska. I am a hairdresser by trade and she had no idea how to cut hair in my mind. I am seriously disappointed that a past hairdresser Kari would make an appointment with her. Just saying. Wont go back.

This was my first time getting my hair cut in Anchorage and I did a ton of research before choosing a salon. I was drawn to Salon Poppy because they use Davines products and color line. The salon itself is adorable, very comfortable, and clean. I appreciated that all stylists and staff were following COVID protocols, which made me feel safer and more at ease. Madora gave me a great haircut and took the time for consultation to make sure we were on the same page! She did a fantastic bang trim which was badly needed and she’s helping me grow out some funky layers from a precious haircut/salon. Madora was very warm and knowledgeable — I highly recommend working with her. I look forward to my next bang trim, haircut, and maybe some hair color. I highly recommend Salon Poppy.
