What a find! Cathy is a miracle worker (and an incredible person to boot!) On my hair journey I inquired at multiple top W Mass salons on their abilities to do a modern perm that wouldn't do a lot of damage to my flat, thinning hair as I was seeing a physician for hair concerns . I was shocked with how many top area salons and stylists stated they "didn't really do perms" or that they did them "once and awhile". I was directed to Cathy at Shear Techniques and was immediately struck by her knowledge base, and not only her ability to answer my questions about a modern perm, but offer additional helpful information. She really listened to my concerns and desires for my hair. I was nervous the day of the appointment but man I couldn't love the results more!
